Public call for co-financing of individual company appearances at international fairs abroad in 2019-2022

Presentation at the international trade fair Aquatech Amsterdam in the Netherlands from 2 November 2021 to 5 November 2021

The operation was selected for co-financing in the Public Tender for the co-financing of individual performances of companies at international fairs abroad in the years 2019-2022.

We have successfully applied for a call for co-financing of individual performances of companies at international fairs abroad in the years 2019-2022, the purpose of which is to co-finance the presentation of products and services of Slovenian companies at international fairs abroad in the years 2019-2022. This makes it easier for Slovenian companies to present to the international public and the resulting strengthening of international competitiveness.

The company Microbium used tender funds to cover part of the costs for appearing at the Aquatech fair in Amsterdam in November 2021, where we presented our services and products in the field of microbiological detection and elimination in water supply and sewage treatment plants. We focused mainly on the Microbium® MPN Analyser, a device that we developed within our company and is the fruit of Slovenian know-how and manufacturing. The device enables the determination of E. coli and coliform bacteria in drinking water, easily, without the use of a laboratory, which facilitates and improves the work of quality control in drinking water distribution companies.

The goal of participating in the fair was to build on the global recognition of the company and the above-mentioned device, as well as to acquire both distributors and potential buyers – the main waterworks from around the world. The Aquatech trade fair in Amsterdam is the world’s leading fair in the field of process, drinking and waste water, which gathers over 650 exhibitors and 18,000 experts from all over the world. Business partners are small or medium-sized companies that already offer solutions for drinking and waste water quality control and actively cooperate with end users. Our device thus enables them to fill a gap in their offer.
